Pastor’s Online Bible Study – The ADVENTure Begins!

Saddle up for a new ADVENTure in Bible Study!

Advent means “the arrival of a notable person, thing, or event.” In theological terms, the word Advent refers to the “Coming or Second Coming of Christ.” In the Christian Calendar, the term Advent refers to the first season of the Christian Church Year, leading up to Christmas and including the four Sundays prior to Christmas Day.

Our next Pastor’s Online Bible Study will look at three of the four Gospels and their announcements for the birth of Jesus the Messiah, and what that means for us today. We will preface these studies with a hint at the Prophetic Announcement of this Messiah from the prophets Micah and Isaiah. We will begin on Tuesday, November 28th, at 7:30 p.m. and go for four weeks leading up to Christmas. It will again be taught on the ZOOM.COM platform, so, you’ll need to sign up in order to get the online meeting information to log on. (It sounds more complicated than it really is!) You’ll need a Bible, pen/pencil and notepad to take notes (if you’d like), and either a smart phone, or a computer with internet access.

If you are interested in joining a great group of folks to learn God’s Word better, please complete this simple form below, and press Submit. A complete schedule will be emailed out a week prior to the first class.
